This Waterproof and Wipe Clean Bed set has been designed to support continence care and can be used under normal bedding this will provide a waterproof barrier for your duvet, mattress and pillows to protect them from any accidents or spills. The Mattress protector is fitted like a fitted sheet directly onto the mattress, the skirt is elasticated to ensure a good fit and to prevent the mattress protector from coming off the bed. The Duvet protector is fitted like a normal duvet cover directly onto the duvet and has an envelope end top close it, making it very easy to use and easily portable when travelling or visiting friends – normal sheets and bedding are then used on top. The pillow protectors are fitted as normal pillowcases and are finished with a housewives flap, all can be simply wiped clean with warm water & detergent. The set is waterproof, soft and flame retardant to BS7175 source 5 and is ideal for home or care setting use, as it complies with all current NHS and Government standards. Manufactured from a pale green tinted non-woven polypropylene, these protectors will not harden or crack and is suitable for long term use. Whether there is someone in your house that wets the bed regularly, or as a precaution against the occasional accident, it’s essential to have waterproof bed protection as even the best incontinence products will leak at some point
